Experimental short film. Written by Lily Ashrowan.
Performed by Lily Ashrowan, Lydia Webb and Hannah Johnston.
This film explores movement as a practice for working through ideas around intimacy and grief. It is responsive to the difficulty of touch and the desire for the proximity of other bodies after a period of extreme isolation. The narrative is a fictionalised narrative from the artist's own life, where the intimacy of platonic reltionships might be able to travel through both time and space: seeking out friends who are too distant to touch, or who are no longer with us. It is a way of reaching towards both the living and the dead.
